The Department of Culture and Creative Media and Industries offers courses that explore the role of digital technologies in the dissemination of knowledge produced in the humanities so as to serve various needs. These needs include the role of the digital in the context of cultural heritage, the creation of digitals apps and other tools so as to manage information in uses that range from museums and tourism to digital exhibitions and websites as well as in other cultural practices. Relevant courses explore themes such as the visualization and management of cultural data and the design of databases suitable for storing and representing cultural practice. In addition, students are exposed to practice-based training in the creation of interactive screenplays, to be used in digital cultural products and in the design of digital tools suitable for various forms of narration and exhibition.
