The Department of Culture and Creative Media and Industries is committed to supporting students throughout their university life. The following university services are available for consultation and offer assistance on a range of areas.
Student Welfare Services
Student Counselling Service
The service offers assistance and support pertaining to personal, psychological matters and trains people in developing skills that are useful in managing and overcoming issues.
Physical Education Office
The office facilitates access to sports activities and physical training/exercise classes.
Theater Group
The University of Thessaly Theater group “Third Floor”acquaints students with theater and enables them to engage in teamwork and to explore their own expressive capacity through theater play and improvisation. The group approaches theater as an art form through various exercises and techniques. Participants are offered a chance to train their body, voice and speech as expressive tools get involved in theater as creative process.
Cultural Groups
Students may join the university musical groups, choir and web radio station (yUTH-Radio).
Gender Equality And Anti-Discrimination Committee
All matters and concerns pertaining to gender and gender equality should be addressed to the Gender Equality Committee.
Harassment - Bullying
Students who face harassment and bullying of any kind can email and report the incidents in the following address respect@uth.gr . The following helpline is also available from 9am to 3pm on weekdays: 2421074024. The support service is committed to assisting students in a discreet and responsible fashion.
