Antigoni Papageorgiou studied Political Science at the University of Athens and holds an MSc in Cultural Management from the Department of Communication, Media and Culture at Panteion University. She completed her PhD in Cultural Industries at the University of Leeds, UK, funded by a scholarship from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). She has taught courses related to the Cultural and Creative Industries, Cultural Management, and Cultural Labor in the Department of Communication, Media and Culture at Panteion University, and she serves as Adjunct Teaching Staff in the MSc program “Gender Studies: Methodologies, Theories, Policies” at the Hellenic Open University where she teaches the course “Gender and Culture.” Her research interests focus on the cultural and creative industries, with an emphasis on creative labor and cultural production, issues of urban and regional change, mobility, and emerging subjectivities in the context of neoliberalism.
