Nafsika Chatzichristou holds a PhD from the Department of Music Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a focus on cultural management and audience development for classical music and opera. She earned a Master of Music in classical guitar from the Juilliard School in New York and holds a degree from the Department of Music Studies at the University of Athens.

Since 2017, she has served as a cultural management consultant to the administration of the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron). In this capacity, she has conducted studies on increasing revenue from artistic and commercial activities, pricing strategies, sales data analysis, and the improvement of organizational processes, while also implementing targeted marketing initiatives aimed at audience development. She also contributed to the preparation of the Athens Concert Hall’s five-year business plan for 2017–2022. In addition, she has significant experience in conducting audience research for cultural organizations, including the Athens Concert Hall and the Greek National Opera.

During the 2025–2026 winter semester, she served as an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Music Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, teaching Cultural Management and Cultural Marketing and Audience Development. She has previously taught for several years as a contract lecturer (under Presidential Decree 407/80) at the Department of Music Science and Art at the University of Macedonia and has also taught at the Department of Folk and Traditional Music of the former Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Epirus.

Her research focuses on the strategic development of cultural organizations and audience development. For her academic achievements, she has received numerous scholarships, including from the Fulbright Foundation and the Juilliard School (G. & M. Vergottis Scholarship).
