Cultural and Creative Industries

The Cultural and Creative Industries represent one of the most dynamically evolving sectors of the contemporary economy and society, combining artistic creation with entrepreneurial innovation. They encompass fields such as media, music, cinema, publishing, digital games, design, advertising, the performing arts, and cultural heritage—offering diverse opportunities for employment and creative engagement.

At the university level, the study of CCIs equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to navigate and shape this dynamic landscape. The curriculum explores the intersection of cultural production, technology, and the market, fostering the ability to design creative products and services with real social and economic impact.

The Department of Culture, Creative Media and Industries promotes entrepreneurship, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable development. It prepares graduates to become innovative professionals, capable of leading in the cultural and creative industries at both national and international levels. At the same time, students are encouraged to reflect critically on the practices of the industry and to understand the vital link between thought and creative action.
