Orestis Pangalos PhD, is an artist, architect and researcher.

He is an adjunct lecturer at various Postgraduate Programs such as the MA Fine Arts – Art and Public Space (School of Fine Arts, University of Ioannina), the MA Semiotics, Culture & Communication (AUTh), and the Postgraduate Program on Advanced Computer and Communication Systems (AUTh).
He has also worked at the MA Graphic Arts – Multimedia (Hellenic Open University) and the Master’s Degree Summer School MIGRIMAGE – Images of Migration on the Southern Border (University of the Aegean). Also, since 2017 he is giving annual lectures at the Postgraduate Program Research in Architecture: Architectural design – Space – Culture (NTUA), and since 2013 he has been giving annual lectures at the MA Museology – Cultural Management (AUTh).
His activities include writing essays, taking part in various research projects, coordinating workshops and conferences, directing music videos, and working on documentaries. He is an active street art practitioner since 1993, he has taken part in several art exhibitions such as the 1st Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art and has executed a number of independent installations in public space. Since 1997 he has been involved in numerous relevant publications, while since 2016 he is the co-editor of the History of Graffiti in Greece book series.
