Research interests: Fluidity of methodologies and processes in art, science and society.

Veroniki Korakidou is a media art theorist and interdisciplinary artistic researcher. Her research focuses on the aesthetics of media and post-media art, ranging from film to interactive art, as well as the intersections of art and the life sciences, including both hybrid biodigital art practices and environmental art processes investigating natural ecosystems.
She is an Adjunct Professor at the Hellenic Open University, School of Applied Arts since 2016, participating in the MA programs “Lighting Design” and “Graphic Arts – Multimedia”, while she collaborates with the University of Thessaly, Department of Culture, Creative Media and Creative Industries since 2020. She was a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication, University of West Attica, teaching two undergraduate courses “Semiology” and “Visual Communication in Graphic Design” (2014-2016). She is author and co-author of several scientific publications in international peer-reviewed Journals, including Technoetic Arts, Intellect Publications and Leonardo Journal, MIT Press.
