COURSE DESCRIPTION<\/h4>\n

The course provides a general overview of the dialectical relationship between ethnic, local, social, political and cultural identities and cultural production respectively. Emphasis is placed on the presentation and analysis of the basic concepts of culture, civilization and their relation to identities of all kinds.<\/p>\n

The course is concerned with both the construction of identity and otherness, and the interconnection and interconnection of the two with cultural production (e.g., literature, film, theatre, dance, music).<\/p>\n
