COURSE DESCRIPTION<\/h4>\n
T<\/span><\/span>he course aims to familiarize students with the organization and design of exhibitions and events and the overall experience of curating. The course emphasizes on a conceptual approach on exhibiting, selecting, organising and interpreting taken as analytical and critical categories as well as on managing exhibitions and events (budgeting, writing catalogue essays and other supporting materials, etc.). We consider the exhibition phenomenon within its contexts in theory and praxis. The importance of the perception of exhibition space and time in relation to the creation of the exhibition experience is explored. The course studies the organization and management of the exhibition\/artistic event through the analysis of contemporary examples and design approaches, with emphasis on the conceptualization and practice of museum\/curatorial design as mediums of curatorial and artistic work, of the mediation of cultural product within the diversity of its interrelation with the (plural) audience.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
