Research Interests: Digital Image Processing, Video-Sound Editing, 3D Graphics Editing, Creative Media and Audiovisual Practices, Interaction Design, Advanced Applications of Typographic Design, Virtual Reality, Supporting Tools for Education Use, Design and Development of Educational Software.

Apostolos Kordas is a Graphic designer – photographer, of printed and electronic media (multimedia). His work includes designing forms in collaboration with publishing houses (editing books, covers, catalogs), editing and publishing Gallery catalogs, editing and publishing periodicals: Art Athina 94, 95, SIMA magazine for the arts, etc. He holds a BSc in Graphic Arts, an MSc degree in Graphic Arts and Interactive Multimedia (Hellenic Open University) and is currently working on his PhD in University of West Attica, focusing on the Visual Communication and graphic innovations in cinematic environments. For more than 20 years, taught digital image processing, typography and interactive multimedia- Interaction Design at the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication, of the University of West Attica. For more than 30 years, is actively involved in the fields of education, research projects, visual communication, typography, design, creative media and audiovisual practices.
